Chicken A La Gloria

I promised some cooking on this blog and it has finally arrived!
i did some cooking before, but not blog worthy.
ya know, fried chicken, salad, etc.

however, i made a kick ass raw veggie salad that was simply delish.
but tonight,
i got adventurous
i absolutely love to try out new recipes, im a huge pinterest foody (who isnt) and also i love to look around on food blogs.

this recipes credit goes to Arlene "Sugar" and i definitely will be making many it more times. it is cheap super easy and SO GOOD!

alright sorry on to the recipe.

Start by trimming your chicken breasts and cut them length wise.
Season with salt and pepper then coat them flour.
Brown both sides of the chicken but you dont need to worry about cooking it all the way through it will finish in the oven.
Put the chicken in a 9 by 13 baking dish and set aside.

Melt butter in the same pan and add the mushrooms. season them with salt and pepper (i also did parsley)

Once the mushrooms are golden brown add the sherry wine and let it cook out, 2-3 minutes. (i used a red sherry wine but i want to try white next time to see the difference, her recipe doesnt specify what she uses) then add the mushroom soup and milk and let simmer till its a nice brown sauce, another couple minutes.

Pour your sauce over the chicken, cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

When the time is up, take out and put your cheese on top of the chicken and broil for 2 minutes.

Your mouth is now ready to consume.

The sauce is so good i could eat it with a spoon (i did)

Fair warning though your house is going to smell like booze for a while but its worth it believe me. We made rice to go with it, im not a huge fan of rice with gravy but my husband insisted.

Let me know what you guys think because i have never blogged about food before so i need feedback!
